The fight against Human Trafficking is one of my hardest and worthiest fights. Much like you, I wear a lot of different hats. Also, like you, I hate that human trafficking & modern day slavery is a reality in our daily lives and that is why I set aside some time in my incredibly busy schedule every week to educate people about the issue of human trafficking and where they fit as individuals to help end human trafficking.I truly believe that every individual plays a role in the fight against modern day slavery and I will show you how to be most effective in doing that.
Before we move on, I would like to tell you a bit of my story and what I have done and continue to do in the fight against modern day slavery.
My experience with human trafficking is very comprehensive.
It includes time spent on several human trafficking task forces, leading countless community awareness and prevention events, time on the front lines in rescue and rehabilitation, living and working with victims and survivors. This has given me a very valuable lens with which to understand and empathize with the emotions that come with being a victim and survivor.
I also have spent a lot of time on the intellectual end of human trafficking – doing research, drafting legislation, writing articles, learning from and partnering with law enforcement. All these have given me incredible experiences relating to prevention, rescue, and the policies that keep human trafficking alive today.
In addition, I am a student of the global epidemic of human trafficking and understand the different nuances between what trafficking looks like in North America in contrast with what it looks like in Europe, Asia, Africa, and other parts of the world.
Lastly, I have been on the inside of several human trafficking organizations and understand what it takes to build a successful human trafficking organization in contrast to an organization with lots of turnover and vicarious trauma.
I have fought for and cried with survivors, been cursed out by victims, experienced vicarious trauma, learned to let go of survivors, drafted legislation, attended hours and hours of task force meetings, seen victims rescued from strip clubs, taught in schools, done prevention, met with senators, worked with fantastic law enforcement officials, and have had incredible moments in my work to end human trafficking.
I would love to talk some more about how I can partner with you or your organization to provide information that will help you work to end human trafficking. My consulting fees range from $500-$5000 depending on several factors like size of the organization, days of training, proximity to me, and purpose of training. I bring a lot of experiences and information to the table that are very unique to my experiences and to your unique niche.
